Who Is DEFINING GREY?

Creatively known as Defining Grey, Adam Scarpitta has over 15 years of experience as a 2D animator, storyboard artist, writer, and show creator, working on projects for FOX, Cartoon Network, Dreamworks, MTV, Nick Junior, Hallmark, Disney Junior, and Warner Bros.

In 2003 he co-created and wrote his first show at Warner Bros. with Eddie Trigueros. Since then, Adam has continued his passion for creating shows, web series, and shorts.

Adam comes from a long line of world-famous Italian artists, sculptors, TV producers, and directors, Adam has creativity and entertainment in his blood. With a religious scholar as a father, he was raised as an Italian-American Muslim and grew up all over the USA and Saudi Arabia. He uses his unique experiences, creativity, and passion for storytelling to live his childhood dream of working in animation.

When he's not working on hit hilarious cartoons, Adam enjoys spending time in nature, sculpting, meditating, golfing & rocking out on his banjo.
