The Art and Animation of Adam Scarpitta

Adam Scarpitta is a 2D animator, writer, and show creator with over 20 years of experience bringing stories to life—using the ancient art of 2D sorcery. He's worked on projects for FOX, Cartoon Network, DreamWorks, Disney Junior, MTV, and Warner Bros., where he co-created, and wrote his first show in 2003.

Born into a legendary bloodline of Italian artists, sculptors, and TV makers—and raised by a religious scholar—Adam grew up living all over the U.S. and Saudi Arabia, where the mash-up of holy books and sketchbooks gave him a unique voice.

Outside his animation cave, Adam can be found meditating in the wilderness, sculpting cactus creatures from clay, golfing with questionable form, or laying down banjo solos no one requested.
